It's so easy to creep back into bad habits, to slide into the DMs of things that seem just a little wrong or a little dangerous. I mean, the Bible doesn't explicitly say this is a sin! Or doing this just one time won't really do much harm. And is this really all that bad?...Why do we do this?

Salvation in High Definition (Leviticus 16)
God's Message To Us: "We're in the endgame now." There is a light at the end of this tunnel. Our sins are forgiven. Our suffering will end. Sin will be destroyed forever.
The End of Shame (Leviticus 15)
Men ejaculate, women have periods. What's the big deal? Declaring them "unclean" until evening? Making them offer sacrifices? Why did God make the Israelites go through all of that? Is that shaming?
Deep Cleaning (Leviticus 14)
Why can't we just be good people? Why do we suck so bad all the time? I think Leviticus 14 has an answer.
Mold In The Shower (Leviticus 13)
Summary: I can't be the only person who inspects a bench, table, or chair before I sit at it - can I? Am I the only one who can't lean casually against a surface that has crumbs or drink stains on it? Am I the only one that gazes warily at the trash and stains … Continue reading Mold In The Shower (Leviticus 13)
There Is Neither Male Nor Female (Leviticus 12)
Is the Bible misogynistic? Are women treated like second-class citizens? Does God see women differently than men?
The New Health and Wellness Guru (Leviticus 11)
Summary: "Cleanliness is next to godliness!" How often have you heard someone say that? It's usually met with an eye roll, because whoever is repeating this tired phrase is probably smugly scolding something we've done that does not meet their standards, and we're just like "Please leave me and my comfortable filth alone". But Leviticus … Continue reading The New Health and Wellness Guru (Leviticus 11)
Classic Overreaction (Leviticus 10)
Summary: How many of you just let loose once you're done with something huge? I know I'm not the only one. After graduation, there are parties. After completing a difficult project at work, there are vacations. Even celebrities, after finishing a movie or show, stop their workout plans and start eating junk again. And right … Continue reading Classic Overreaction (Leviticus 10)
On One Condition (Leviticus 9)
Summary: What's the last thing you asked God for? Did you get it? Did He answer your prayer? Or did it feel a little bit like He ignored your request? Maybe you asked for a job or a financial blessing. Maybe you asked for healing or for friendship. Maybe you even asked for victory over … Continue reading On One Condition (Leviticus 9)
Whatever It Takes (Leviticus 8)
Summary: I can't hear the phrase "whatever it takes" without thinking about the Avengers. Yes, I saw Avengers: Endgame, and like everyone else, I relished the scene where, well, the Avengers did whatever it took. They pulled out all the stops, risked life and limb, and sacrificed themselves in order to fight evil. It made … Continue reading Whatever It Takes (Leviticus 8)
