A gift? Really? That? What was God thinking?
Some of the men of Judah or Dan or Naphtali or Ephraim were not pleased. They wanted a different answer. They didn't want to obey. They didn't like God's decision. They disagreed with His law. Can you believe that? Of course you can.
"I've dedicated my life to Christ". "Complete surrender to God". "We're here to glorify God in everything". We've heard it before. We know it's supposed to be us. But it's more than just pretty words or the Christian ideal. It's about saving our lives.
If I were to give someone a list of the choices you'd made over the past decade, what conclusions would they draw about you? What kind of person would they think you were? Lazy? Ambitious? Troubled? Exciting?
